Saturday

10am - Basing

Using epoxy ribbon, bits box bits, natural products, milliput and various tools, attendants will be given the opportunity to create a base that stretches their story telling skills into one of the most important aspects of a mini, the base. In this class, we will be telling the story of a hero traversing a landscape that has seen thousands of years worth of reoccurring conflict, regrowth and more conflicts.

Bring a hero to mount on the base, but otherwise everythings else will be provided for you.

10am - Sculpting

A beginner guide into greenstuff. Class is structured after Joe Ortez’s “Lose the fear of greenstuff”. Learn how to create basic elements to add details to any figure.

Skill level: None

What to bring: Sculpting tools if available

Pallets, greenstuff and tools will be provided

4pm - Weathering

In the far future of the 40th millenia there is only….and endless supply of wet wipes to clean your armor while in combat! (record scratch) In this class we will be going over various techniques to get your model looking like they have been down in the trenches for years, living, breathing and absorbing the battle field.. All you need is your love of dirt and grime to be able to participate in this class, models and material will be supplied for you.

4pm - Blending/Layering

A basic class designed to teach introductory skills of painting a model. Have questions about the different meaning of Two brush blending, loaded brush, wet blending, feathering, glazing? This class will answer and define all these different meanings.

Skill level: None

What to bring: Brushes

Paints, pallets and models will be provided.
