Battle Zone Ursa Events

Battle Zone Ursa plays host to a myriad of tabletop gaming events. BZU 2026 events will be announced when fall 2026 draws closer.

BZU 2025 included:

• A Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament, one of the largest annually in Alaska

• A Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Tournament

• A Star Wars: X-Wing Tournament

• A Marvel: Crisis Protocol Tournament

• Multiple Dungeons & Dragons campaigns

• Our annual Painted Ursa painting contest featuring highly experienced judges

• The Flesh and Blood TCG Alaska State Championship

• The Disney Lorcana TCG Alaska State Championship

• The Pokémon TCG Alaska State Championship

• A Gundam TCG Sealed Release Event

• A Warlord: Saga of the Storm TCG tournament

• Paint & Take tables with supplies, including paints, provided

• Hobby classes:

  • Dirty Down Effects: Weather, Snot, and Blood

  • Washes, Inks, and Glazes

  • Painting Techniques

  • Faces and Eyes

• A board game lounge with a large curated selection of board games and help learning to play them

• Open play tables

• Numerous game demos

• Our Vendors’ area

We are constantly adding and shifting games based on community involvement.
